About the piece

Mocha Meditations draws inspiration from my love of coffee and the tranquil moments of preparing your morning space. It embodies the peaceful moment of sitting down and savoring that first sip.

The centerpiece of the artwork features an abstract representation of a Bird of Paradise, woven into what could resemble a coffee mug or a delicate pastry found in a café. This nods to the artistry of baristas crafting intricate foam patterns on lattes or bakers adding unique designs to pastries. Below this form, rippling patterns symbolize the inevitable splash or spill from a mug on the saucer beneath.

This piece was created to capture a feeling of calm and quiet reflection, inspired by the peaceful stillness that comes with meditation.
